How it All Began
Diving Into The Culture
Growing up in South Lake Tahoe, I was always intrigued by the culture of our unique town. The south shore has always been alive with events, exhilarating outdoor activities and some of the best dining – from unscale fine-dining restaurants to local hubs for a casual bite. But one thing that always stood out to me is that our town has the ability to turn anything into a remarkable experience, and that’s the vision I had growing up. I wanted to create remarkable experiences for people.
A Brunch Dream
I’m a sucker for a good brunch. I love everything about it – getting all your friends together, chatting away on an airy patio, indulging in off-the-charts amazing food and of course, everyone’s favorite brunch factor, bottomless mimosas. After years of planning, visualizing and working endless nights, I officially decided I was going to open Champagne and Chocolate in 2021.
Challenges Overcome
Like everyone else who started a business during the pandemic (props!), I dealt with many, many shortages and delays. The color of paint I wanted, the flooring, the champagne – it was one shortage after another. But, I wasn’t going to let it stop me from a successful opening. Champagne and Chocolate was going to be open in 2021, I just knew it.
Through the amazing people who stood by my side and the incredible business partners I had, my dream of Champagne and Chocolate manifested into a reality. I officially opened my shop on December 22, 2021.
I’m excited to continue sharing my journey with you all. Follow along to see what Champagne and Chocolate unfolds!
